Solution: Stay as calm as possible in any emergency and take the recommended steps.
Healthier Choice: Always keep an eye on the stove or oven when cooking in the kitchen to avoid accidents. Do not leave cooking food unattended.
Tried & True Tip: Keep a small fire extinguisher on hand and be sure it is active. If you feel unable to contain the fire, leave immediately and warn everyone else in the house. Go outside to call 911 from your cell phone or call from a neighbor’s phone.
