Five Easy, Do-Anywhere Stress Relievers

As someone who frequently feels very stressed and yet actively doesn’t want to, I’ve tried and come up with the gamut of stress relievers. Some work, some don’t. In my opinion, if these are easy for me, they’re easy for anyone!
1) Deep Breaths
There’s no proscribed number. It’s much simpler than that — whenever you’re feeling stressed, take a deep breath. It’ll feel so good, you’ll want to take another… and another… and another… and….
2) Focusing on “Now”
It sounds so cliche and new-age when I hear it that I didn’t even want to try at first. But it works! Probably for the same reason that getting engrossed in any activity does — your attention is so concentrated on the present that you don’t have the mental focus left over to worry about whatever you were freakin’ about.
